Pastor Theodore Pasley

Senior Pastor

Elder Theodore (Ted) Pasley is a native of Hemingway, SC, a graduate of Hemingway High School and has a degree from Central Texas College.  He retired as First Sergeant from the US Army in September 1997 after 24 years of active service.  He is Founder and Pastor of Restoration Life Ministries (RLM), retired from the South Carolina Department of Insurance as a Special Investigator with 22 years of service, and is Vice-President of Life Inspirations Inc.

Elder Pasley answered his calling into ministry in August 1994 while stationed in Hawaii and a member of Bethesda Temple Apostolic Church, Pearl City, HI, under the leadership Bishop C.E. Pearce.  He was ordained an Elder in August 1996.  In addition, he has completed formal pastoral training through the Church of God In Christ Institute, Prison Fellowship Ministry, Palmetto Baptist Hospital Counseling Program, Midlands Technical College, and The Therapon Institute where he is a certified belief therapist.

He has served the church in various positions including Associate Pastor at Family Worship Center Church of God In Christ in Columbia, SC, under Superintendent Derrick W. Hutchins, where he served as Lead Pastoral Counselor, Coordinator of Prayer Line Ministry, Director of Outreach Ministries for F.A.M.I.L.Y. CDC, Instructor in the Christian Education Department, Assistant Coordinator of Prison Ministry, Couples Ministry Coordinator, Chairman of the Progressive District of the South Carolina Jurisdiction and he has also served the church on a national level as Council Adjutant for the General Council of Pastors and Elders.  Elder Pasley is also active in the community where he served as Chairman of the Christian Businessmen Committee of the Greater Columbia area.

Pastor Pasley’s driving passion is simply to be the best husband, father/grandfather, pastor and brother that he can be. His favorite scripture is Romans 8:28.

He is married to the lovely Dr. T. Angela Pasley originally of Spring Lake, NC.  They have three sons and fourteen (14) grandchildren.

Dr. T. Angela Pasley is a twenty-year veteran of the Army Nurse Corp, LTC (R) and served in Desert Storm. She is a Registered Licensed Nurse, with a Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling.  She has a Doctorate of Philosophy in Human Services with a Specialization in Counseling from Capella University. She is a National Certified Counselor, License Practicing Counselor-I, Board Certified Human Service Practitioner and a Certified Belief Therapist.

Dr Pasley believes that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is Trauma of the Soul and Spirit.  “When war tears the Soul and the Spirit, God is the only one that can repair it.” There are no words to express what is happening in the body and mind.  Therefore, she created Art Scriptorium ©.  Art Scriptorium© is a process that reconnects the Soul and the Spirit, renews the mind, and heals the body using the Word of God and Art.  The Art Scriptorium © method assists individuals to process life, which cannot be expressed in words.  

Dr. Pasley worked as a Civilian with Army Family Advocacy Teaching Stress management, Anger management, Bullying Awareness, Child abuse awareness and Parent Workshops, and other Soldier, Family, and Veteran related classes and workshops.

Dr. Pasley was elevated to Evangelist Missionary July 2017 with the Church of God In Christ (COGIC).

Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.”

She is married to Pastor Ted Pasley and they have three sons and 14 grandchildren.
